direcionar a conduta.
A aparência física
Physical appearance plays an important role in society, being linked to beauty standards that provide physical and emotional well-being. These facts are totally linked to the growth of the industry and the cosmeceutical market in recent years. The concept of beauty extends to young skin, without the presence of spots or wrinkles. The skin is the first defense organ, being the face to a region susceptible and sensitive to aging, to ultraviolet rays (UV) and the appearance of dark circles also known as Idiopathic Cutaneous Hyperchromia of the Orbital Region (HCIRO). One of the most sensitive regions of the human body are the eyes, which are responsible for the first impression. The eyes can show happiness, tranquility and likewise they can express anguish and pain. The purpose of this study was to conduct an integrative review in order to discuss and evaluate the causes and etiological factors and describe the possible treatments. In view of the scarcity of information about the etiology, as well as a consensual treatment, an adequate clinical examination is necessary to guide the conduct. There are several suggestions for treating HCIRO described, such as peeling, laser, use of cosmetics.
