ABSTRACT Introduction: Urinary incontinence (UI) is defined as any and all involuntary loss of urine. One of the treatment options is pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) using biofeedback, a technique that allows the individual to be aware and control their physiological functions, using instruments that provide information about the body's activities in real time. Objective: To observe the use of biofeedback as an aid in the treatment of women with urinary incontinence. Method: This is a bibliographic review, with searches for articles in English and Portuguese in the Scielo, Pubmed and VHL databases with the keywords Women, Urinary Incontinence and Biofeedback. Conclusion: At the end of the analysis of the articles, it was concluded that biofeedback was effective as an aid in the treatment of UI, bringing improvement in the strength of contraction of the pelvic floor muscles (PFM) and perineal awareness for women who do not have them. Keywords: Urinary Incontinence, Biofeedback, Pelvic floor disorders, Women's health.
