Resumo
O câncer de mama é uma doença multifatorial, caracterizada pela multiplicação desordenada das células. Trata-se da primeira causa de morte por câncer na população feminina mudial e, dentre os fatores responsáveis por sua gênese, estão as mutações no genoma que provocam a supressão de genes ou a ativação de oncogenes.
Os Breast Cancers Genes (BRCA) aparecem na literatura, ligados ao risco de desenvolvimento de câncer de ovário e mama e, este estudo busca investigar estes dois importantes supressores tumorais, suas possíveis mutações patogênicas e prováveis biomarcadores que contribuam para produção de novos tratamentos da doença, correlacionando dados dos estudos mais recentes.
