Resumo
O estágio curricular supervisionado na Clínica Veterinária Palma Pereira, localizada na cidade de Florianópolis/Santa Catarina, teve duração de 3 de abril a 9 de junho, com carga horaria de 360 horas, focada em clínica e cirurgia de animais silvestres e exóticos. Por meio do estágio curricular, os estudantes podem mostrar seus conhecimentos práticos e teóricos adquiridos durante a graduação e pelo tempo acompanhando os veterinários na clínica. Por isso, este relatório busca descrever todos os espaços da clínica veterinária, assim como mostrar as atividades aprendidas pelo estudante nesse período. Um relato de caso sobre suspeita de estase gastrointestinal em Oryctolagus cuniculus (coelho doméstico) é descrito neste relatório, após o monitoramento do tratamento durante o estágio. Todas essas experiências, fornecem aos estudantes lições importantes sobre suas vidas profissionais, ensinando-os a se tornarem mais competentes em seus trabalhos, fundamentando sua ética e instruindo que o objetivo sempre é fazer o melhor pelos pacientes.
The curricular supervised internship at the Palma Pereira Veterinary Clinic, located in the city of Florianópolis/Santa Catarina, lasted from April 3th to June 9th, with an workload of 360 hours focused in wild and exotic animal clinic surgery. Trough the curricular internship, the students can show their practical and theoretical knowledge acquired during the graduation and by the time spent accompanying the veterinarians at the clinic. Thus, this thesis seeks to describe all the spaces of the veterinary clinic and show the activities learned by the student in this period. A case report about the suspect of gastric stasis in Oryctolagus cuniculus (domestic rabbit) is described in this thesis after monitoring the treatment of the case during the internship. All those experiences, provides to the students importants lessons to their professional lifes, teaching them how to become more competent at the work, bases their ethics and teach them that the goal is always do the best for the patients.
