Este artigo explora a conexão entre desigualdade socioeconômica e criminalidade juvenil no Brasil, através da lente da psicanálise e do documentário “Juízo”. Analisa-se como a desigualdade estrutural brasileira pode influenciar o envolvimento dos jovens na
criminalidade, destacando a falta de oportunidades e a busca por identidade como fatores relevantes. Além disso, o documentário fornece um contexto vívido das vidas dos jovens no sistema judicial brasileiro. Ao considerar esses elementos, este estudo busca fornecer uma compreensão mais profunda da interseção entre desigualdade socioeconômica e criminalidade juvenil no contexto brasileiro.
This article explores the connection between socioeconomic inequality and youth crime in Brazil, through the lens of psychoanalysis and the documentary “Judge”. It analyzes how Brazilian structural inequality can influence young people's involvement in crime, highlighting the lack of opportunities and the search for identity as relevant factors. Additionally, the documentary provides vivid context into the lives of young people within the Brazilian judicial system. By considering these elements, this study seeks to provide a deeper understanding of the intersection between socioeconomic inequality and youth crime in the Brazilian context.
