Resumo
The art of tattoing has an ancestral origin and one of the oldest discovers, and today most popular techinician. To tattoo is used a machine with a metal needle, which does oscillating movements to introduce a pigment, puncturing the first layers of skin: epidermis and dermis. Being that thirty per cent of the pigment is absorbed by the body, through dermal macrophages. The present study aims at analyses the pigment migration at lymphatic and blood systems, therefore understanding better the immune system against the tattoos substrates and how it is relevant know more about this subject. Review study was done analyzing the actual literature PubMed, Scielo and ScienceDirect. Can be collected that a newly tattooed skin: the pigment is divided in the superficial skin layers until dermis reticular and at the 4th week, some parts of the pigment is removed from dermis by the macrophages. And part of the pigments is with hold by dermis, the reaming pigment is transported by circulatory system. It’s tried that the pigment is transported by the blood circulatory system until liver, where the Kupffer cells are also known by macrophages. Was detected that the quantities of studies and information about the subject it is reduced. Emphasizing the importance of accomplishment of new studies about this topic, in order of clarify the better transport of the pigments to do this art technician, transports time and possible effects a medium and long term at lymphatic and blood system.
