| dc.description.abstract | The search for plastic surgery and aesthetic treatments has grown in recent decades. Abdominoplasty consists of removing a large part of epithelial and adipose tissue from the lower abdomen, being dissected in the same plane upwards and the navel remains in the same position. The aesthetic treatment in the post-surgical period allows a significant improvement in the skin texture, the absence of fibrotic nodules in the subcutaneous tissue, the reduction of edema, the minimization of possible tissue adhesions and the healing of the surgery. This research aimed to evaluate the practice of aesthetic treatments performed in the postoperative period of abdominoplasty in women from Tubarão, SC. Cross-sectional, exploratory and quantitative study. Twenty women from Tubarão-SC were sampled for convenience. As instruments for data collection, a structured questionnaire was used to collect information regarding the treatments used in the postoperative period of abdominoplasty. In this study, it was found that most women underwent cosmetic treatment in the postoperative period. Those who underwent treatment used manual lymphatic drainage. | dc.description.abstract | A busca por cirurgia plástica e tratamentos estéticos cresceu nas últimas décadas. A abdominoplastia consiste em remover uma grande parte de tecido epitelial e tecido adiposo do abdômen inferior sendo dissecado no mesmo plano para cima e o umbigo permanece na mesma posição. O tratamento estético no pós-cirúrgico possibilita a melhora significativa na textura da pele, a ausência de nodulações fibróticas no tecido subcutâneo, a redução do edema, a minimização de possíveis aderências teciduais e na cicatrização da cirurgia. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo geral avaliar a prática de tratamentos estéticos realizados no pós-operatório de abdominoplastia em mulheres de Tubarão, SC. Pesquisa de estudo transversal, exploratória e quantitativa. A amostra foi composta por 20 mulheres de Tubarão- SC por conveniência. Como instrumentos para a coleta de dados utilizou-se um questionário estruturado para coletar informações referentes aos tratamentos utilizados no pós operatório da abdominoplastia. Verificou-se neste estudo que a maioria das mulheres realizaram tratamento estético no pós-operatório. Aquelas que realizaram o tratamento, utilizaram a drenagem linfática manual. Nenhuma das participantes apresentaram complicações pós-cirúrgicas, porém nem todas as mulheres procuraram tratamento estético para auxiliar na cicatrização. | pt_BR |
