A princesa no cinema e no cenário político atual: os atravessamentos do imaginário feminino

Resumo
Apesar das lutas femininas alcançarem a cada dia vitórias em políticas públicas, na diminuição da violência contra a mulher e no aumento das condições de oportunid ade e igualdade salarial, por exemplo, esta luta é permanente e vai sempre conviver com o movimento contraditório de conquistas e retrocessos. Em especial, desde o acirramento político das últimas eleições presidenciais, temos convivido com dizeres que diminuem a mulher em sua capacidade, além do fato de que políticas públicas duramente alcançadas vêm sendo destruídas. Tudo isso tem nos feito pensar sobre o lugar da mulher no momento político atual, chamando-nos a atenção, em especial, os pronunciamentos da Ministra da Mulher, da Família e dos Direitos Humanos, Damares Alves, dos quais recortamos como tema debate o enunciado: “Vamos tratar meninas como princesas e meninos como príncipes” (11/12/18). Considerando que este enunciado-tema pode nos dizer bem mais do que seu sentido literal, a partir daí interessamo-nos em analisar os efeitos de sentido deste dizer, e qual a sua relação com o imaginário sobre a mulher alimentado pelas histórias de princesas da Disney, bem como o que isso nos diz da posição da mulher, ou dos sentidos sobre a mulher, no atual contexto da política brasileira. Para dar conta deste objetivo, é utilizada a teoria da Análise do Discurso, com enfoque em Michel Pêcheux e Eni Orlandi. O corpus da pesquisa é formado pelo enunciado-tema acima, proferido pela Ministra, e pelo imaginário das personagens das obras cinematográficas da Disney, Branca de Neve e os Sete Anões (1937) e A Bela Adormecida (1959). Consideramos que, com esta análise discursiva, é possível investigar, através dos dizeres políticos que ecoaram na sociedade desde o acirramento político da última eleição, o modo como a posição da mulher está determinada, ainda em muito, pelos valores do conservadorismo.
Although women's struggles are each day winning public policy victories, reducing violence against women and increasing the conditions of opportunity and equal pay, for example, this struggle is permanent and will always live with the contradictory movement of achievements and setbacks. In particular, since the political upheaval of the last presidential elections, we have been living with the say that women are diminishing in their capacity, besides the fact that hard-hit public policies have been destroyed. All this has made us think about the place of women in the current political moment, calling our attention, in particular, the pronouncements of the Minister of Women, Family and Human Rights, Damares Alves, whose theme is the debate: “Let's treat girls like princesses and boys like princes” (11/12/18). Considering that this theme utterance can tell us much more than its literal meaning from then on we have been interested in analyzing the meaning effects of this saying, its relation to the imaginary about the woman fed by the Disney princess stories, as well as what this tells us about the position of the woman, or the senses about the woman, in the current context of Brazilian politics. To take care of this objective, the theory of Discourse Analysis is used, focusing on Michel Pêcheux and Eni Orlandi. The corpus of the research is formed by the above theme utterance, given by the Minister, and by the imaginary of the characters of the Disney films, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) and Sleeping Beauty (1959). We consider that, with this discursive analysis, it is possible to investigate, through the political sayings that have echoed in society since the political intensification of the last election, how the position of women is still largely determined by the values of conservatism.
