This study proposes an analysis of the influence of the work environment and its dynamics in the manifestation of pathological anxiety in members of organizations. We sought to differentiate normal and pathological anxiety and the subtypes of anxiety disorders present in the organizational environment. The research is bibliographic and was developed from narrative literature review using publications in databases such as Scielo, Google Academic, Pepsic, university repositories, as well as physical books, government newsletters, and ebooks. The results indicate that the management of culture and climate exert interference with the satisfaction and perception of the individual about the work and its implications, what would be associated with the manifestation of pathological anxiety in these spaces, only one study presented percentages by subtypes of anxiety disorders, being the most common: mixed anxious and depressive disorder, followed by other anxious disorders, generalized anxiety and panic disorder. It was observed that there are a growing number of recent studies in this context, directed to the teaching field.
