| dc.description.abstract | A Disfunção Erétil é uma das complicações mais frequentes e precoces da Diabetes Mellitus. As patologias partilham de fatores de risco comum e uma fisiopatologia multifatorial. Alguns mecanismos subjacentes à Disfunção erétil na diabetes incluem neuropatia, disfunção endotelial, alterações estruturais/funcionais cavernosas e hormonais. Com o objetivo de identificar a prevalência da Disfunção erétil (DE) em portadores de Diabetes mellitus (DM), Com a intenção de avaliar os graus de acometimento em portadores dessa enfermidade e verificar a relação idade/grau de acometimento em portadores de diabetes. Pacientes diabéticos com DE são considerados um grupo particularmente difícil de tratar, sendo um grupo que menos responde ao tratamento oral de primeira linha. O rastreio e tratamento deste distúrbio mostra-se importante, contando com informações e formação de profissionais de saúde capazes de orientar o paciente, e com estudos e pesquisas para novas soluções e o diagnostico cada vez mais cedo. Os estudos apresentam ainda uma resistência por parte dos pacientes em pesquisar o que provoca e quais sintomas diferem de diabetes e quais apresentam para outras doenças cardiovasculares. O estudo baseia-se em porque pequenos sinais são ignorados e como isso afeta no diagnostico preventivo e como em alguns casos os sintomas são mais claros de detectar a presença de diabetes. | pt |
| dc.description.abstract | Erectile Dysfunction is one of the most frequent and early complications of Diabetes Mellitus. The pathologies share common risk factors and a multifactorial pathophysiology. Some mechanisms underlying erectile dysfunction in diabetes 2 Biomedicina – 8º semestre – 2022/2 include neuropathy, endothelial dysfunction, cavernous and hormonal structural/functional changes. With the objective of identifying the prevalence of Erectile Dysfunction (ED) in patients with Diabetes mellitus (DM), with the intention of evaluating the degrees of involvement in patients with this disease and verifying the age/degree of involvement in patients with diabetes. Diabetic patients with ED are considered a particularly difficult group to treat, being a group that is least responsive to first-line oral treatment. The screening and treatment of this disorder is important, relying on information and training of health professionals capable of guiding the patient, and with studies and research for new solutions and earlier diagnosis. Studies also show a resistance on the part of patients to research what causes and which symptoms differ from diabetes and which they present for other cardiovascular diseases. The study is based on why small signs are ignored and how this affects preventive diagnosis and how in some cases the symptoms are clearer to detect the presence of diabetes. | en |
