This essay critically analyzes the machosphere, a collection of online communities discussing masculinity-related topics from a male perspective. Using Jung's analytical psychology concepts, the study examines how these subcultures, including MRAs, PUAs, MGTOW, and Incels, perpetuate gender stereotypes and inequalities. Additionally, it explores the influence of colonialist discourses on the formation of these ideologies and the impact of the "redpill discourse" in reinforcing an anti-feminist masculinity. Through the theory of cultural complexes, the machosphere is understood as a cultural complex negatively affecting society and its members. The study suggests educational interventions and media regulation policies to combat the spread of misogynistic ideologies and promote a more inclusive and healthy social and online environment.
