dc.description.abstract	Abdominoplasty is one of the most sought after plastic surgeries today, in which the surgeon removes excess skin and adipose tissue from the region of the abdomen through a cut where there is rupture of cells and blood vessels generating a collection of fluids. Thus, lymphatic drainage sessions are indicated for the withdrawal of this accumulation. Manual lymphatic drainage is a technique that aims to improve the functioning of the lymphatic system in order to help eliminate the fluids and toxins present in our body, nourish the tissues and improve the healing process. The objective of this study is to address the importance of manual lymphatic drainage in the postoperative period of abdominoplasty for a better understanding of the subject. It is a descriptive, quantitative and field research, consisting of 30 volunteers, between 30 and 60 years old, who will already perform abdominoplasty. The data collection was done through a questionnaire composed of questions to obtain information about the date of the surgical intervention, whether or not complications were involved and whether lymphatic drainage was performed postoperatively. Based on the results, it was observed that the dates of surgeries varied from year 2015 to 2017, only four interviewees did not perform manual lymphatic drainage in the postoperative period and some patients hadcomplications such as: seroma and persistence of edema, among them, four who did manual lymphatic drainage and the four who did not. Thus, it was concluded that manual lymphatic drainage in the postoperative period of abdominoplasty was effective in reducing edema, absorption of hematomas and seromas, alleviation of pain caused by the surgery, bringing benefits to the client and satisfactory results thus cited by the patients interviewed.	en
dc.description.abstract	A abdominoplastia é uma das cirurgias plásticas mais procuradas atualmente. Nela o cirurgião retira o excesso de pele e tecido adiposo da região do abdômen, por meio de um corte, onde há o rompimento de células e vasos sanguíneos gerando um acúmulo de líquidos. Assim, é indicado para a retirada desse acumulo sessões de drenagem linfática. A drenagem linfática manual é uma técnica que visa o melhor funcionamento do sistema linfático a fim de auxiliar na eliminação de líquidos e toxinas presentes no organismo, nutrir os tecidos e melhorar o processo de cicatrização. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o nível de satisfação das pacientes submetidas a drenagem linfática manual após a abdominoplastia. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, quantitativa e de levantamento, constituída por 30 voluntárias, com idades entre 25 e 70 anos, que realizaram abdominoplastia. A coleta de dados foi feita por meio de questionário composto por questões destinadas a obter informações sobre a intervenção cirúrgica, se foi realizada a drenagem linfática no pós-operatório e qual o nível de satisfação dos pacientes. Com base nos resultados obtidos, observou-se que as datas das cirurgias variaram do ano de 2015 ao de 2017, apenas quatro entrevistadas não realizaram a drenagem linfática manual no pós-operatório e oito pacientes tiveram complicações como: seroma e persistência de edema, entre elas, cinco que fizeram drenagem linfática manual e três que não fizeram. A drenagem linfática manual no pós-operatório da abdominoplastia, mostrou-se eficaz contribuindo para a diminuição de edema, absorção de hematomas e seromas, alivio de dores causadas pela cirurgia trazendo benefícios ao paciente e resultados satisfatórios assim citados pelas entrevistadas.	pt_BR
