This Undergraduate Thesis addresses the theme of Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM), which is a standard established by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to allow for the reduction of the minimum vertical separation between aircraft during cruise flight. Prior to the implementation of RVSM, aircraft were required to maintain a significant vertical distance to ensure safety in airspace, leading to less efficient flight routes and increased fuel consumption.
