Resumo
A terapia cognitivo-comportamental tem se mostrado eficaz no que diz respeito ao tratamento no âmbito da saúde mental. Na prática clínica, a Arteterapia pode ser adicionalmente fornecida quando o tratamento, como de costume, não é suficientemente eficaz para um grande grupo de pacientes. Como cerne da pesquisa em questão, uma revisão integrativa da literatura foi conduzida a fim de explorar os efeitos da Arteterapia como estratégia de tratamento concomitante. Neste estudo foram apresentados desfechos para promover uma discussão de como sua utilização pode auxiliar no desempenho de processos cognitivos básicos. A busca dos artigos foi realizada por meio da base de dados PubMed, Scielo e Bvsalud. Após a verificação do título e do resumo, foram analisados sistematicamente 15 estudos que, em seguida, foram reduzidos em 14 após a leitura na íntegra. O período de publicação definido foi de 2016 a 2021 com o intuito de coletar dados mais recentes. No total, 14 artigos foram selecionados para essa pesquisa, dos quais foi possível realizar o levantamento e discussão acerca dos processos cognitivos envolvidos na Arteterapia e de qual forma a mesma interliga a psicologia clínica e contribui para a melhora de sintomas dos transtornos psicológicos e transtornos neurocognitivos maiores e leves.
ABSTRACT Cognitive-behavioral therapy has proven effective with regard to treatment in the mental health field. In clinical practice, art therapy may be additionally provided when the treatment as usual is not effective enough for a large group of patients. As the core of the research at hand, an integrative literature review was conducted in order to explore the effects of the art therapy as a concomitant treatment strategy. The outcomes in this study presented the endpoints to promote a discussion of how its use can assist in the basic cognitive processes performance. The search for articles was managed using the PubMed, Scielo, and Bvsalud databases. After checking the title and abstract, 15 studies were systematically analyzed, which were then reduced to 14 after full reading. The publication period defined was from 2016 to 2021 to collect the most recent information. In total, 14 articles were selected for this research, from which it was possible to survey and discuss the cognitive processes involved in Art Therapy and how it interconnects clinical psychology and contributes to the improvement of symptoms of psychological disorders and neurocognitive bigger and lighter disorders.
