Having a growth in the hospital environment, but precisely in the ITUs, reaching patients who spend a lot of time in the sector, by having a favorable growth in the respiratory tract, patients dependent on mechanical ventilation are more likely to be infected by the bacterium and can even die because it is a multi-resistant bacterium. This study is a narrative literature review regarding their resistance with the general objective of reporting their resistance in intensive care units (ICU). In addition to reporting its resistance, the study looks for virulence factors, antimicrobial susceptibility and its relationship with pneumonia.
