INDRODUÇÃO: A microbiota vaginal, é onde possui a maior
Podendo estar associado as
INTRODUCTION: The vaginal microbiota, is where it has the highest concentration of bacteria playing an essential role in the maintenance of female health, has lactobacillus sp. which are predominant bacteria in the vagina, these bacteria produce lactic acid, which maintains the acidic pH of the vagina, and hydrogen peroxide, which inhibits the growth of other bacteria. OBJECTIVE: this study aims to identify nurses' knowledge about the factors that influence the change in the vaginal flora. MATERIALS AND METHOD: Exploratory Literature Review (REL) related to the effects of the use of female intimate products on the vaginal flora, with a qualitative approach, which seeks more developed, clear and objective data on the subject, to obtain more accurate and reliable results. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: We can see that more and more women are making the incorrect use of intimate products, initially without proper knowledge of the harm they bring to their intimate health. It may be associated with the socioeconomic conditions of their own standard of living, increasing use for those who use them. CONCLUSION: Therefore, the importance of the systematization of nurses' assistance in women's health is verified, noting that the work process in teaching/learning is essential to be applied in Basic Health Units (UBS) and teaching institutions, with the aim of to guide the target audience about care and prevention, in order to keep intimate health in good condition.
