Introduction: The early implementation of physiotherapy in the treatment of oncology patients in palliative care plays a crucial role in addressing the patient with a focus on controlling the pains that arise throughout the disease´s progression, through a broader perspective. It is 2 believed that the application of methods such as Kinesiotherapy, TENS, thermotherapy, and massage therapy has yielded positive results in alleviating the painful condition of these patients. Objective: How can the physiotherapist contribute to pain control in palliative care for oncology patients. Methodology: A survey was conducted on the PubMed, SciELO, and Google Scholar databases, including scientific articles in the form of case studies and literature review articles. Results: Nine original articles were included for the composition of this study. Conclusion: Based on the analyses obtained in this study, there is not enough research to definitively assert the effectiveness of physiotherapeutic intervention in pain control in palliative care for oncological patients. However, a positive performance was observed in all analyzed resources.
