O presente estudo objetivou avaliar os índices de qualidade de vida (QV) e de sentido de vida (SV) em uma amostra de graduandos, além de observar se havia uma correlação entre os dois construtos. Este estudo transversal e descritivo contou com uma amostra de 117 acadêmicos com idade média de 24 anos (DP= 6,17, variação = 18-47). Houve alta incidência de participantes do sexo feminino (75,2%) e estudantes de Psicologia (74,4%). Os domínios físico e psicológico foram
avaliados como o melhor e pior, respectivamente. A maioria dos participantes (62%; n=73) se encontrou no grupo dos que obtiveram pontuações abaixo do esperado na dimensão presença de sentido. Houve uma correlação positiva e forte (ρ=0,62) entre a presença de sentido e o domínio psicológico. Os resultados sugerem que a presença de sentido é um construto psicológico importante para a QV, além de que pode ser um auxiliar na trajetória acadêmica de graduandos.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the levels of quality of life (QOL) and meaning in life (MIL), in a sample of undergraduate students and to observe if the two constructs have a correlative relation. There was a high incidence of participants of female sex (75,2%) and from psychology students (74,4%). The physical and psychological domains were rated the best and worst, respectively. Most participants (62%; n=73) are in the group of those who scored lower than expected in the presence of meaning dimension.
