dc.description.abstract	The theme allows the reader to know a little about the insertion of the black person in the city of Imbituba/SC, allowing a historiographical enlargement from race and class relations. In conterpoint to the silencing of official history, the work is justified by the need to listen to these social subjects that had contributed and are contributing to the formation of local history. The general goal was to rescue, from the memories, what blackpeople say about their history in Imbituba, Santa Catarina. As specific objectives, we seek to know aspects about the insertion of the black person in the city of Imbituba and produce primary sources, through the narratives of black memories about the city. The research was exploratory with an inductive approach and data collection was carried out through thematic oral history with interviews complemented by documentary archives. As results, we can rescue memories that meet the period from 1940 to the 2000s about the childhood, housing and work, including the arrival of a coal company in the city of Imbituba, the collective practices of the time as dances and clubs and finally, it was possible to list some aspects of black social movements, self-esteem and resistance of black people in the city.	en
dc.description.abstract	O tema possibilita ao leitor conhecer um pouco da inserção da pessoa negra na cidade de Imbituba/SC, permitindo uma ampliação historiográfica a partir das relações raciais e de classe. Em contraponto ao silenciamento da história oficial, o trabalho justifica-se pela necessidade de dar escuta a esses sujeitos sociais que tanto contribuíram e contribuem para a formação da história local. O objetivo geral foi resgatar, a partir das memórias, o que falam os negros sobre sua história em Imbituba, Santa Catarina. Como objetivos específicos buscamos conhecer aspectos sobre a inserção da pessoa negra na cidade de Imbituba e produzir fontes primárias, por meio das narrativas de memórias negras sobre a cidade. A pesquisa foi do tipo exploratória com abordagem indutiva e a coleta de dados deu-se por meio de da história oral temática com entrevistas complementada por arquivos documentais. Como resultados, pode-se resgatar memórias que atendem ao período de 1940 aos anos 2000 sobre a infância, moradia e trabalho, incluindo a chegada de uma empresa carbonífera na cidade de Imbituba, as práticas coletivas da época como bailes e clubes e por fim, conseguiu-se elencar alguns aspectos dos movimentos sociais negros, autoestima e resistência das pessoas negras na cidade.	pt_BR
