One of the biggest problems that civil construction brings to the environment is waste. solids that it generates, and in the quest to transform these residues into something less aggressive to the environment. The present work will seek to analyze the use of pet bottle fibers in concrete, as well as defining the mechanical strength and physical properties of different bodies test, with concentrations: T1= 0%, T2=1%, T3=3% of pet fiber on the mass, in a curing time of 28 days. It was found that the best concentration of pet fibers for works construction was T2=1%, which obtained a gain in tensile strength of about 144% in relation to T1=0%.
