dc.description.abstract	The Middle Ages are called the "dark ages." The vision of this period accompanies the West since the Renaissance, designating everything that comes from it as "bad" and obscure. The role of women in feudal societies did not escape this Manichaeism. Thus, we will seek in this work to discuss: Hildegarda de Bingen: a woman who marked the western medieval. And to corroborate with the nature of the theme proposed and to motivate the investigation, the following problem question was asked: How did the construction of the profile of women in the medieval era, based on the life of Hildegard de Bingen? The Middle Ages, was a historical past with great advances for humanity, but with the advent of the Renaissance, a great denial occurs to the period before him. Even today it is common to hear that the Middle Ages were the "Dark Ages", not diminishing their contributions in the various areas of knowledge. The woman throughout history was long forgotten and unmentioned, and with the advent of Modernity and negation for the preceding period, this oblivion worsened, becoming Alzheimer's. In this way two views will be approached regarding their role in the media. Many are the examples of women who marked this period, but there is one that deserves special attention: Hildegard de Bingen, a religious woman who exercised within the church considerable influence and importance.	en
dc.description.abstract	A Idade Média é taxada como “Idade das trevas”. A visão sobre este período acompanha o ocidente desde o Renascimento, designando tudo que advém dela como “ruim” e obscuro. O papel da mulher nas sociedades feudais, não escapou desse obscurecimento. Dessa forma, buscar-se-á nesse trabalho discorrer sobre: Hildegard de Bingen: uma mulher que marcou o medieval ocidental. E, para corroborar com a natureza do tema proposto e motivar a investigação, lançou-se a seguinte questão-problema: Como se deu a construção do perfil da mulher no medieval, com base na vida de Hildegarda de Bingen? A Idade Média, foi um período histórico com grandes avanços para humanidade, porém, com advento do Renascimento, ocorre uma grande negação ao período anterior a ele, sendo considerado como um tempo médio, indigno de sua existência. A mulher, durante toda história, era deveras esquecida e não mencionada, e com a chegada da Modernidade e a negação pelo período que a antecede, esse esquecimento agravou-se profundamente, mais do que em qualquer outro período da história. Dessa forma, será abordado duas visões a respeito do seu papel no medieval. Muitos são os exemplos de mulheres que marcaram esse período, porém, existe uma que merece uma especial atenção: Hildegard de Bingen, uma mulher religiosa que exerceu, dentro da igreja, considerável influência e importância.	pt_BR
