dc.description.abstract	This article discusses the social construction/reproduction of domestic and family violence practiced against women, which has been culturally strengthened by patriarchy and machismo in the dynamics of the socially assigned roles of what it is to be a man and a woman in capitalist society. Therefore, the object of study was the work of the Social Worker in the education and rehabilitation centers for the aggressors, questioning whether the education and rehabilitation centers of the perpetrators of violence and the performance of social work contribute to the reduction of indices of family and domestic violence against women? The objectives were centered on presenting the education and rehabilitation centers to the aggressors and the performance of social work and its relationship with a possible decrease in the rates of family and domestic violence practiced against women, the specific ones - to reflect on the social aspects of violence of gender, to analyze the ethical attitude of the Social Worker, within the parameters of performance and Law Maria da Penha No. 11.340/2006 and show the potential of education and rehabilitation of the author of domestic and family violence. We use the deductive approach as a method, through bibliographic, documentary research and legislation related to the theme. We present data on gender violence as a historical and cultural phenomenon, reflecting on the educational work with the aggressor, as a possibility of re-education about patriarchy and machismo, for the transformations and changes that we so expect from men.	en
dc.description.abstract	O presente artigo discorre sobre a construção/reprodução social da violência doméstica e familiar praticada contra as mulheres, que foi fortalecido culturalmente pelo patriarcalismo e machismo na dinâmica dos papéis atribuídos socialmente do que é ser homem e mulher na sociedade capitalista. Diante disso, teve como objeto de estudo o trabalho do/a Assistente Social junto aos centros de educação e de reabilitação para os agressores, problematizando se os centros de educação e reabilitação dos autores de violência e a atuação do serviço social contribuem para a diminuição dos índices de violência familiar e doméstica praticados contra a mulher? Os objetivos foram centrados em apresentar os centros de educação e de reabilitação para os agressores e a atuação do serviço social e sua relação com possível diminuição dos índices de violência familiar e doméstica praticados contra a mulher, os específicos- refletir sobre os aspectos sociais da violência de gênero, analisar a postura ética do/a Assistente Social, dentro dos parâmetros de atuação e Lei Maria da Penha n° 11.340/2006 e mostrar o potencial da educação e reabilitação do autor de violência doméstica e familiar. Usamos como método a abordagem dedutiva, por meio de pesquisas bibliográficas, documentais e legislações relacionadas ao tema. Apresentamos dados da violência de gênero como fenômeno histórico e cultural, refletindo sobre o trabalho educativo com o agressor, como possibilidade de reeducação acerca do patriarcalismo e machismo, para as transformações e mudanças que tanto esperamos dos homens.	pt_BR
