influenciar no prognóstico e tratamento do paciente.
Paraneoplastic Syndrome is increasingly common in small animal clinics. It is a set of symptoms and clinical signs that the animal's immune system expresses when it is affected by a tumor. This syndrome is not only caused by the presence of the tumor and its metastases, on the other hand, it is related to the release of hormones from neoplasms, which produce cytokines, cellular and biochemical components that are released by the neoplasm into the circulation. Therefore, early recognition of PNS becomes of great value, as these changes may be the first sign of tumor malignancy, potentially influencing the patient's prognosis and treatment. Therefore, the SPN is a strong ally for the early diagnosis of the patient and affects several signs in other locations in the animal's body, therefore this work aims to review the main and most frequent systems affected, which are the gastrointestinal, endocrine, musculoskeletal system. , dermatological, hematological and neurological so that Veterinarians can identify the main symptoms and signs and can diagnose and treat this patient as early as possible to increase the patient's longevity.
