dc.description.abstract	This work aims to analyze selfies which put at risk the lives of the people that tried to accomplish them, reflecting on the self-portrait in the contemporaneousness and its bond with the danger. The risky selfies, as image, rostifies the threshold between life and death. Starting from this hypothesis, it became necessary the depth study of photograph beyond traditional notion of representation The study was based on thinkers like Roland Barthes, Walter Benjamin, George Didi-Huberman and Gilles Deleuze. Sought to understand the double aspect of image-face: quality and potency what we see and what looks back at us, life and death. The research methodology is qualitative, and the analysis is aesthetic. The results show that selfies and studies about images bring new perspectives on theories of contemporary images, with new concepts of culture, aesthetics and world drives involved in the advancement of technology.	en
dc.description.abstract	Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar as selfies que colocaram em risco a vida das pessoas que tentaram realizá-las, refletindo sobre o autorretrato na contemporaneidade e seu vínculo com o perigo. A selfie de risco, enquanto imagem, rostifica o limiar entre a vida e a morte. Partindo dessa hipótese, fez-se necessário o estudo aprofundado da fotografia para além da noção tradicional de representação. O estudo se fundamentou em pensadores como Roland Barthes, Walter Benjamin, Georges Didi-Huberman e Gilles Deleuze. Buscou-se compreender o duplo aspecto da imagem-rosto: qualidade e potência, o que vemos e o que nos olha, vida e morte. A metodologia da pesquisa é qualitativa, e a análise é estética. Os resultados nos mostram que as selfies e os estudos sobre imagens trazem novas perspectivas sobre as teorias das imagens contemporâneas, com novos conceitos de cultura, estética e pulsões do mundo envolvidas pelo avanço da tecnologia.	pt_BR
