dc.description.abstract	The objective of this paper is to study the salary paid under the table and the implications of this practice to the employee and the Social Security. For this reason, it was studied the Social Security, its nature, sources and principles, taxpayers, insured people and contributions, Social Insurance, Social Assistance and Healthcare; Labor Rights related to the employment relationship, salary, payment, and contribution salary; and, finally, the salary paid under the table and its consequences to the employee and Social Security. It was observed that the salary paid under the table is an amount of money paid off the books and not registered in the Labor and Social Insurance Card. The under the table payment of salary causes serious damage to society, because it reduces the collection of social charges and, consequently, damages the financing of Social Security, that is, Social Insurance, Social Assistance and Healthcare. The implications to the employee are also important because the amount of money paid under the table is not included in the calculation of overtime payment, weekly paid rest, vacation payment plus 1/3, night shift extra payment, additional payments for hazardous duty, notice, 8% FGTS and 40% fine of the FGTS. In addition, the employee's retirement or social security benefit will also be lower because the amount of money paid to Social Insurance is lower. Finally, it was observed that the under the table payment of salary means tax and social insurance evasion and it damages the financing of Social Security and a fairer and supportive society.	en
dc.description.abstract	O objetivo deste trabalho é estudar o salário por fora e as implicações desta prática para o empregado e para a Seguridade Social. Para isso, foram estudados a Seguridade Social, sua natureza, fontes e princípios, contribuintes, segurados e contribuições, a Previdência Social, a Assistência Social e a Saúde; os Direitos Trabalhistas relacionados à relação de emprego, salário, remuneração, e salário de contribuição; e, por fim, o salário por fora e suas consequências para o empregado e a Seguridade Social. A pesquisa constatou que salário por fora é um valor pago extra folha e não anotado na Carteira de Trabalho e Previdência Social. O pagamento de salário por fora traz grave prejuízo à sociedade, porque reduz a arrecadação dos encargos sociais e, consequentemente, prejudica o financiamento da Seguridade Social, ou seja, a Previdência Social, a Assistência Social e a Saúde. As implicações para o empregado também são importantes, pois os valores pagos por fora não integram o cálculo de horas extras, o descanso semanal remunerado, as férias mais 1/3, adicional noturno, adicional de periculosidade, aviso prévio, 8% de FGTS e os 40% de multa rescisória do FGTS. Além disso, a aposentadoria ou benefício previdenciário do empregado também será menor, porque os valores pagos à Previdência são menores. Por fim, constatou-se que o pagamento de salário por fora constitui sonegação de contribuição fiscal e previdenciária e compromete o financiamento da Seguridade Social e de uma sociedade mais justa e solidária.	pt_BR
