Monografia Acesso fechado Recrutamento e seleção: um estudo no Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Comercial - SENAC/SC(2018) Aguiar, JanineThe present work is the result of a internship research carried out from August 2017 to November 2018, held for the Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Comercial – SENAC/SC, an institution founded in 1947 in the state of Santa Catarina. This company is known for offering professional and technological education services. It is understood that changes in employment relationships have required companies to take a new perspective on professional performance with significant implications regarding especially the recruitment and selection of candidates for vacancies offered. With this in mind, this work has as general objective, to carry out a study aiming to propose improvements in the processes of recruitment and selection of the company. As specific objectives: a) to show what types of recruitment are used by the company; b) to present how the stages of the selection process work and c) to point out the positive and negative aspects of the recruitment and selection processes, aiming at proposing improvements based on the identified negative points. To support the understanding of the topic, bibliographical references were used by renowned authors in the study areas, such as Chiavenato, Gil, Marras, Dessler, Lotz and others. As a theoretical basis, several concepts related to the main theme of the work were used, among them, HR Management and Recruitment and Selection. The methodological procedures used were: exploratory research, descriptive research, bibliographic research, case or monographic study and qualitative approach. A conclusion was reached during the studies carried out, where possible solutions were identified for improvements in the stages of the recruitment and selection process. These suggestions will help select candidates more suitable for the vacancies offered by the organization.
