Artigo Científico Acesso fechado Inocência Roubada: o teatro como estratégia de prevenção e combate à violência sexual contra crianças e adolescentes(2021) Medeiros, Natanael deSexual violence is a common and serious public health issue, of substantial proportions, affecting, silently, millions of children and adolescents each year throughout the world. Therefore, it is required efforts for further prevention mechanisms to this type of violence. A theatrical project named Inocência Roubada has been working with these topic, since 2011, and has already involved, approximately 20 cities in State of Santa Catarina, Brazil. This study targets to analyze this project’s effectiveness, as a strategy to prevent sexual violence, based on, attendant professionals’ standpoint, who followed its application in a municipality, south of Santa Catarina. It was found that the playfulness of the project was highlighted to its effectiveness, as was the professional training provided to the Child and Adolescent Protecting Policies team.Artigo Científico Acesso aberto Violência contra crianças e adolescentes: tecendo a rede de proteção integral.(2020) Redivo, Lutcheska Amboni; Maia, Fernanda de OliveiraThe Child and Adolescent Statute - ECA (Law No. 8,069, of July 13, 1990) establishes the Child and Adolescent Rights Guarantee System - SGDCA. Law No. 13,431, of April 4, 2017, recently amended the ECA, aiming to standardize and organize the SGDCA, based on the creation of mechanisms that aim to prevent and curb violence against children and adolescents. Considering the complexity inherent in cases of violence against children and adolescents, there are several agencies involved aiming at the full protection of children and adolescents, including the Guardianship Council, the Police Station, the Judiciary and Public Health, Education Policies and Social Assistance. This article seeks to identify and critically reflect on the interfaces of violence against children and adolescents and the effectiveness of the Child and Adolescent Rights Guarantee System - SGDCA, as described in the Child and Adolescent Statute - ECA. To this end, its general objective is to identify the essential elements that make up an Integral Protection Network so that it becomes effective in terms of preventing and tackling cases of violence against children and adolescents. It is concluded that the mere existence of the services that make up an Integral Protection Network, as provided for in the ECA, is not enough.
