But it is necessary to look for strategies to bring the student closer to the text, especially the literary one. This article presents a suggestion of using the active team-based learning methodology to involve high school students and think about the importance of enjoying and interpreting the literary text. The research dialogued with authors such as Todorov (2010), Berbel (2011), Bollela et al. (2014). To achieve the objective, we conducted a qualitative case study with two high school classes from a state public school in Içara, SC. They read the stories “Felicidade Clandestina” and “Venha ver o pôr do sol”. And, while one class did a traditional test and only mistakes and successes were verified, the second discussed the texts using team-based learning, when the interpretation and enjoyment were more satisfactory.
