Monografia Acesso aberto Atuação do profissional de saúde na atenção primária frente à violência doméstica à mulher(2017) Vargas, Elaine Buchele de; Santos, Ester Hélia dosIntroduction: Domestic violence against women is a serious public health problem in the world, requiring care by health professionals. The woman who was the victim feels ashamed, blames herself, is afraid of losing her children or even of being attacked again. She believes that the aggressor will change and tries to protect him. Sometimes, the aggressor accompanies her at all times with the health professionals, not giving her the opportunity to expose the fact. In addition to these factors, there are also points concerning to the behavior of the professional, who for lack of knowledge and misconceptions, ends up not being attentive to signs of violence against the woman. Objective: It’s to understand the conduct of health professionals in primary care for domestic violence against women. Method: It is a qualitative, descriptive exploratory research, carried out through a semi-structured interview with health professionals working at UBS Rio Grande, supported by Leininger's cross-cultural theory. Results: The analysis of the results showed that health professionals, especially community agents, are extremely important in the recognition of violence. Concerning to the care given by the professionals to the victimized woman, the mentioned aspects were the reception, orientation, direction and empathy. It was noticed that relationship and therapeutic communication are present in all stages of the process and was observed that the professionals provide diversified care based on empiricism, due to the lack of qualification, however, even in the face of this reality, they believe they can take care of patients in case of domestic violence. Final Considerations: Thus, it is considered fundamental to carry out actions based on norms of the Ministry of Health with the ACS, because it is the professional category with the most proximity to the community, contributing to prevention, promotion and assistance in the integral care of women.Monografia Acesso fechado Cardiopatia congênita: a atuação do enfermeiro no cuidado à criança hospitalizada(2017) Cordini, Juliana Bressan; Paim, Caroline ConteIntroduction: According to Quilici et al. (2009), the prevalence of congenital heart disease is approximately 8 per 1,000 live births. Early diagnosis and specific treatment make the survival rate of congenital heart disease in children higher. Congenital heart defects can be defined as any anomaly that affects the structure of the heart at birth. (RIVERA et al, 2007). Objective: to know the role of nurses in the care of children with hospitalized congenital heart disease. Wanda Horta, the theoretician related to basic human needs, was used as theoretical reference. Method: the present research was characterized as an exploratory descriptive with a qualitative approach, using a semi-structured interview script, which sought to describe the experience of the nursing professionals in performing the systematization of care for this patient. Data were collected through interviews composed of open and semi-structured questions, totaling 07 nurses from the Joana de Gusmão Children's Hospital, located in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina state. Conclusion: The child diagnosed with congenital heart disease is a very serious and unstable patient and the care provided by the nurse becomes of great importance, having as main focus the perception of the child's changes and wishes. Final considerations: the vast experience of nurses in pediatric care does not exclude the need to seek a specialization in cardiology. Another perception of this research is that the nurse's look and praxis in front of children hospitalized with congenital heart disease needs to be improved daily, in a systematized way. Therefore, it is recommended that care be done in a systematized manner and not just based on stories and experiences.Monografia Acesso aberto Complicações decorrentes do posicionamento cirúrgico no período transoperatório em pacientes idosos de um hospital geral da Grande Florianópolis-SC(2017) Wildner, Clayonara Krauss; Welter, Aline CristinaIntroduction: the patient's surgical positioning is an important procedure in intraoperative nursing care to prevent complications for geriatric patients. Objective: the main objective of this study is to identify which complications are related to surgical positioning during older adults perioperative period. Method: it is a quanti-qualitative study. Its approach is exploratory and descriptive, using two instruments to collect data: one applied in the preoperative period and the other to the postoperative period. They were applied in the surgical center of the Hospital Regional de São José Dr. Homero de Miranda Gomes. Results: the quantitative data were analyzed through graphs, and the qualitative data was based on the theoretical reference of author Wanda de Aguiar Horta. Most patients were white (73%) and aged 60 to 69 years (61%). The main complication associated to the surgical positioning included the pressure area (73%). DM plays a major role in most of the illnesses (32%), followed by patients without any kind of complication (15%), and patients who did not walk (13%). The time of surgical intervention was specified by the type of surgery, prevailing the ophthalmic surgeries (28) with an average time of 60 to 119 minutes, followed by orthopedic and trauma surgeries (21) between 120 to 179 minutes. The predominant surgical position is dorsal decubitus (83%). Considerations end: the study concluded that complications caused by surgical positioning are generated by lack of specific resources to protect and prevent injuries, a fact that should intensify the attention of the surgical center team at the time of the procedure.Monografia Acesso aberto Conhecimento e utilização das plantas medicinais na terceira idade(2012) Silva, Giselle Vieira Henrique; Silveira, Pricilla Hypólito daThis work comes to an exploratory qualitative research, conducted at Primary Care Unit (BHU), in São José, with the study subjects 100 (one hundred) Roçado elderly residents of the neighborhood, St. Joseph, aged 60. This perspective includes the SNC within the surgical center, which is conceived as a set of activities related to surgical practice. This study aims to evaluate the perception of the nursing staff of the surgical center on the NCS, with a view to preparing a care proposal. This is an exploratory-descriptive research with quantitative and qualitative approach with a questionnaire to the nursing staff acting in the operating room of the Regional Hospital of Saint Joseph, after the signing of the consent form. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and qualitative data based on the theoretical framework of Wanda de Aguiar Horta. As a result it was found that most of the participants are female (25), technicians in Nursing (18) and act mainly on general surgical center (19). Regarding the Nursing Process, 22 know what it is, but only 13 of them apply. Instruments were created history, diagnosis, plan of care and evaluation of nursing for the operating room, observing the needs of this sector and with reference to specific literature to date. We conclude from this study that even knowing the SNC, applies to a minority in the profession, and that a complicating factor is the lack of knowledge, since many professionals end up knowing and learning in everyday profession. These characteristics contribute to increase the insecurity of the mother, especially those of "first trip", in relation to the necessary care, to ensure the health of the newborn (NB) and her own health, in this early stage of motherhood. This study aims to describe how the primiparous puerperous woman understands care with herself and with the newborn, based on Madelaine Leininger's theory. This is a descriptive exploratory study with a qualitative approach. Participants were 20 primiparous puerperous woman who were admitted to the Acommodation Room of a Maternity Hospital in the municipality of São José-SC. For the data collection, a semi-structured interview was used, filled out by the interviewer, respecting the ethical aspects of Resolution Nº 466/12 of the National Health Council. Discussion and analysis of data occurred through literature review and content analysis of Bardin. The results showed despite the fact that more than half of the puerperal women had completed high school, regarding to self-care, they expressed basic acknowledge, but with doubts arising from the prenatal period, as care to the breasts, resting, feeding and others. Regarding to NB, it has been identified that the experience between mother and child has also been a sinuous path, surrounded by difficulties and doubts, regarding to essential care such as bathing; position to sleep and burp; causes of crying and other basic cares, for more detailed guidance, which would bring to the mother greater acknowledge and safety. Emotional expressions and behavioral reactions such as anxiety, fears and uncertainties were also perceived, which triggered a preoccupation with facing this phase, so full of discoveries and responsibilities. Thus, it is understood the importance of the Nurse professional, from the prenatal period to delivery, as a guider, enlightening doubts and difficulties from the puerperal pregnancy cycle.
