Artigo Científico Acesso fechado Possibilidades e limites das metodologias ativas na atividade de estudo do aluno(2020) Rocha, Letícia Oliveira MartinsThis article aims to analyze the possibilities and limits of active methodologies for the benefit of the student's study activity. For this, the historical-critical theory was taken as a theoretical reference. We sought to research about the contribution of active methodologies in teacher planning and, consequently, to verify whether such methodologies contribute to the teaching and learning process in order to effect the integral development of the student from the perspective of historical-cultural theory. In this sense, this research is characterized as bibliographic, whose aim is to appropriate the theoretical framework and analyze the foundations of active methodologies. It was found that, for the teaching and learning process to be fully contemplated, it is necessary that the student be in study activity. Thus, the study activity focused on the teaching and learning process is not considered an innate activity. The teacher has the role of creating conditions for the study activity to have a personal meaning, so that the individual can relate, in this practice, his social life, feeling the need to assimilate theoretical knowledge. From this perspective, it was possible to understand that active methodologies have their limitations in the teaching and learning process, since some contradictions were verified, such as the emptying of historically systematized knowledge with regard to the relationship between active methodologies and the study activity, as well as understanding the role of the teacher in the teaching process.
