Artigo Científico Acesso fechado Modelagem à luz da Teoria Histórico-Cultural(2020) Antunes, Isabel CardosoHow to organize Mathematics teaching with potential to promote the learning of scientific concepts and the development of theoretical thinking? This is the research problem we have sought last years. This research is inserted within the scope of a larger investigation Project on the limitations of teaching organization mode current in Brazil, and possibilities to overcome it from the foundations and developments of Historical-Cultural Theory. Dialectic was adopted as research and methodological teaching method developed from the Theory of Developmental Teaching and Teaching Guiding Activity. Based on these theoretical assumptions and in an investigative way, a Developmental Didactic Experiment was performed with students of the Pedagogy faculty in a University localized in the Southern State of Santa Catarina. The objective was research possibilities to organize teaching the concept of number in initial teacher training at theoretical level in the light of Historical-Cultural Theory. This research’s nature is experimental, carried out over a semester (2020-2) with thirty-four students of the fourth and sixth semesters enrolled in the Learning Unity (subject) Fundamentos e Metodologias de Matemática para os Anos Iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. The classes had place on Tuesdays from 19h15min to 22h30min, via platform Zoom because of the Pandemic caused by the virus SARS-CoV-2. Fifteen researchers of TedMat also participated in the experiment as professor/researchers. The classes were recorded by the app and made available by the professor to the students and the researchers. Fifteen meetings were performed and in each one, a researcher was teacher sharing the teaching with the professor. Data source was the integral transcription of manifestations by the students, the teacher, and the professor/researcher from the Zoom recording. This was the chaotic concrete starting point which subsidize, through abstraction, synthesis elaboration in this text. We had as assumption that organization of mathematics teaching with the potential to promote the learning of scientific concepts and development of theoretical thinking pass by the conceptual movement proposed by Davydov in four study actions from Triggering Learning Situations. Over the development of the Virtual Story of the concept titled Verdim e seus amigos, we verified the possibility to organize the teaching through modeling in the light of Historical-Cultural Theory. In the context of this theoretical perspective, thinking of the organization mode of teaching through modeling requires considering the concrete as starting and arriving point mediated by abstractions. The lead wire of this movement is in the essential relation revealed in the first study action, modeled in the second, transformed in the third, and applied in the fourth one. Thereunto, it is necessary considering the concept in study in the context of its conceptual system. We consider the concept of natural and rational number in unity. Such unity was revealed from the relation of multiplicity and divisibility among a continuous greatness and the length in interconnection of arithmetic, algebraic and geometric meanings.
