Monografia Acesso aberto Portal Unisul acessível à comunidade surda: um estudo sobre acessibilidade web no portal acadêmico(2014) Espindola Neto, Paulo César; Martins, Viviane SaleteSeeking to help university to make their information accessible to deaf students, this work aims to provide a hint of how information can be treated so that the natural langu age of the Deaf (LIBRAS) is integrated into the portal. This suggestion is developed through a literature and applied research, which was used to seek bases for the final stages of labor, where questionnaires and interviews as qualitative research action research were conducted, and so finally, a suggestion could be created like a solution for integration of the deaf. With the proposed solution, the objective is to make it more accessible to deaf community academic portal, so that it can obtain information about the institution. It is also important to begin to give visibility to this type of accessibility, in future it may be widely distributed , not only making the portal accessible to the deaf , but also all other systems and AVA 's provided by Unisul. Through the research conducted in this work , and as a result of integration between established the Program for Promotion of Accessibility and Industry Portal Development , it was able to provide a suggestion that it is the availability of a video containing the proper translation of the main source LIBRAS information on academic portal , through its main menu , providing deaf students with an understanding of where to find specific information and thus improving the fluidity with which travels through the site . It is concluded that despite its accessibility, Unisul portal does not yet have sufficient resources for the deaf community, so that it is necessary to think of possibilities to enable this integration, giving the deaf person the right to exercise their freedom and autonomy at the time of seeking higher education.Monografia Acesso aberto Safepath: ferramenta de apoio à pessoas cegas em espaço universitário(2019) Viapiana, Fabricio Filipe; Barros, Michel Albino deThe blind student faces daily challenges throughout his or her academic journey. Every day there are risks of mobility and safety in performing tasks in the university environment, common practices for students with vision, but complex for blind students. Developing an information system capable of providing voluntary support for your academic journey will ease the risks and frustrations you face on a daily basis. This monograph reports the development of Safepath as a tool to support the locomotion and resolution of daily problems that blind students face in the university environment. The application was developed from open source libraries and provides communication between the blind and the volunteer, through voice command. In the development of the project we used the questionnaire technique with the purpose of better understanding the issues that permeate the researched problem, adding more knowledge for the design of the tool. The proposal was developed from the precepts of agile methodologies, the UML notation language for documentation and visual and sound prototyping of the system, detailing the functionalities developed. The first version was validated by blind students of the course of Information Systems - UNISUL Grande Florianópolis. The analysis of validation data demonstrated the relevance of the Safepath in the student's daily life.
