Resumo
Globalização trouxe consigo muitos efeitos sobre a sociedade, assim como surtiu profundas transformações sobre a economia dos países, diversificando e aumentando o fluxo de comércio exterior entre as nações. Estas passaram a utilizar diferentes formas de ação, por meio de suas políticas comerciais. Entre elas, uma comumente conhecida, que é a proteção aos produtores e fabricantes nacionais, contextualizada pelos estudiosos de "Protecionismo". No Brasil não é diferente, utilizou-se e ainda utilizam-se medidas protecionistas. Assim sendo, este trabalho busca compreender as principais razões para utilização destas, mediante o setor industrial. Para tanto, apresenta-se um pouco sobre o processo de industrialização no Brasil. Contextualizando assim a política comercial dos últimos 10 anos, para entender as ações mais recentes e a posição do governo perante o tema, bem como o panorama atual da indústria no país. Também disponibiliza a opinião dos fabricantes nacionais bem como a opinião dos importadores de máquinas e equipamentos sobre ações de proteção governamental ao mercado interno, esclarecendo fatores a favor e contra tal política comercia
Globalization has brought many effects on society, and has had profound changes on the economy of countries, diversifying and increasing the flow of trade between nations. They began to use different forms of action, through its trade policies. Among them, one commonly known, is that the protection of national producers and manufacturers, contextualized by scholars of "Protectionism". In Brazil is no different, we used and still are used protectionist measures. Therefore, this study seeks to understand the main reasons for using these through the sector industrial. It presents a little about the process of industrialization in Brazil. Contextualizing so the trade policy of the past 10 years to understand the most recent actions and the government's position before the subject, as well as the current situation of the industry in the country. It also offers a view of the domestic manufacturers as well as the views of importers of machinery and equipment on actions of government protection for the domestic market, explaining the factors for and against such trade policy
