Hypnosis was discovered many years ago by Franz Anton Mesmer (1734-1815), who once saw a street artist using magnets on people, and he realized that this artist was able to draw tears, and laughter from people, only with movements and magnets, Mesmer then decided to go deeper into the subject, and realized that he could cure illnesses through the technique, which in the beginning was called "mesmerism" or "animal magnetism". hypnosis began to gain more space, in medicine mainly, a tool that was used and saved many lives during wars, soon after, Dave Elman, (1900- 1967) known as the "Father of Medical Hypnosis", developed a method to take the people to the hypnotic trance in 3 minutes, which is one of the most used methods in hypnosis until today. Recognized by several Federal Councils, hypnosis today is a very useful tool, and of great value for many professionals in different areas of health.
