From pandemic crises to civil and world wars, societies face challenges every day, often demonstrating both sides of human character. With the vaccine bringing hope to the beginning of 2022, many people harmed throughout the pandemic are looking for a return, new homes and support to get back on their feet. The growing economic instability since 2019 with the impact of the coronavirus is hardly accentuated today with new political and economic crises, as we see happening in the confront between Russia and Ukraine. In a national level, Brazil, for being an underdeveloped country, suffers from the already existing inequality, still blatant, scaring and increasing the number of people in a situation of social vulnerability. Added to this, floods are increasingly frequent, states such as Bahia, Tocantins, Maranhão and Rio de Janeiro, have been suffering from these due to global warming (VICENZO, 2022). Thus, we can see that there are several reasons why people are in these situations. With this in mind, this monography embraces this reality in order to help these refugees, promoting a quality emergency temporary housing as a principle to reintegrate them into society in a dignified way.
