Resumo
Diabetes mellitus é uma doença crônica, considerada um problema de
saúde pública. De acordo com a Federação Internacional de Diabetes, em
2045 o número de pessoas com diabetes foi estimado ser superior a 700
milhões. O crescente número de pacientes está associado a diversos fatores,
como a má qualidade de vida, a rápida urbanização, o estilo sedentário, o
crescimento e envelhecimento populacional e a maior sobrevida de indivíduos
com diabetes. O objetivo é ressaltar a importância do profissional farmacêutico
inserido como equipe mínima da atenção primária na unidade básica de saúde
com intuito de minimizar as complicações diabéticas e restaurar a qualidade de
vida. Um estudo de revisão narrativa da literatura foi ponderado artigos
científicos do período de 2019 a 2023, através das principais fontes de dados
bibliográficos: Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SCIELO), Google acadêmico,
Pubmed e Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS). O consultório farmacêutico na
UBS mostrou um serviço de qualidade e diferenciado para as pessoas que as
utilizaram, pois, o mesmo apresentou uma assistência farmacêutica de
qualidade, bem como o farmacêutico inserido como equipe mínima de uma
UBS irá cooperar eficientemente para a normalização da glicemia e evitar o
progresso de complicações relacionadas à diabetes. A classe de profissionais
farmacêuticos está no percurso de ser valorizado pela sociedade, percebe-se a
falta de inserção deste profissional em diversas áreas de atuação que o
mesmo, pode e deve estar inserido. Analisa-se com base nos estudos aplicado
ao presente trabalho que pacientes utilizando os serviços fornecidos pelos
farmacêuticos tiveram uma melhora significativa em comparação aqueles que
não tiveram a mesma oportunidade.

This exorbitant increase is associated with several factors, such as poor quality of life, rapid urbanization, sedentary lifestyle, population growth and aging, and longer survival of individuals with diabetes. The objective is to highlight the importance of the pharmaceutical professional inserted as a minimum primary care team in the basic health unit in order to minimize diabetic complications and restore quality of life. A narrative review of the literature study, scientific articles from the period from 2019 to 2023 were weighted, through the main sources of bibliographic data: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), Google academic, Pubmed and Virtual Health Library (BVS). The pharmaceutical office at the UBS showed a quality and differentiated service for the people who used them, as it presented quality pharmaceutical care, as well as the pharmacist inserted as a minimum team of a UBS will cooperate efficiently for the normalization of glycemia and prevent the progression of diabetes-related complications. The class of pharmaceutical professionals is on the path of being valued by society, it is noticed the lack of insertion of this professional in several areas of activity that he can and should be inserted. It is analyzed based on the studies applied to the present work that patients using the services provided by pharmacists had a significant improvement compared to those who did not have the same opportunity.
