O refluxo gastroesofágico é uma condição em que o conteúdo do estômago volta para o esôfago, causando desconforto e irritação. Os sintomas incluem azia, dor no peito, regurgitação e náuseas. Embora haja tratamentos médicos, a nutrição desempenha um papel fundamental no manejo da condição. Uma dieta adequada pode prevenir e reduzir os sintomas, e a escolha dos alimentos corretos pode fazer uma grande diferença. A dieta deve ser adaptada individualmente para cada paciente, levando em consideração o histórico clínico, a gravidade dos sintomas, o peso e as preferências alimentares. A mudança de hábitos alimentares é uma forma importante de controlar a condição e prevenir complicações futuras. O estudo revisou a literatura para verificar como a nutrição pode contribuir para o controle do refluxo gastroesofágico.
Gastroesophageal reflux is a condition in which stomach contents flow back into the esophagus, causing discomfort and irritation. Symptoms include heartburn, chest pain, regurgitation, and nausea. Although medical treatments are available, nutrition plays a fundamental role in managing the condition. A proper diet can prevent and reduce symptoms, and the right food choices can make a significant difference. The diet should be tailored individually for each patient, taking into account their medical history, symptom severity, weight, and dietary preferences. Changing eating habits is an important way to control the condition and prevent future complications. The study reviewed the literature to assess how nutrition can contribute to controlling gastroesophageal reflux.
