Agroecological Systems are sustainable soil management techniques that seek an environmental balance between soil-plants-animals. Many studies over the years have listed a series of benefits of these tools applied to soil management, however data from recent studies show that the number of livestock farmers applying agroecosystems is still insufficient. On the other hand, climatic conditions, the diversity of tropical ecosystems and human actions required adaptations in agricultural practices. The objective of the research was to carry out a systematic review on sustainable soil management techniques in the production of forage plants. The methodology used was a bibliographic survey based on articles, dissertations, theses and books published between 2013 and 2023 in the Web of Science databases. 422 works were detected and after analysis, 42 articles remained that made up the discussion of this TCC. Analyzed and after applying selection criteria, the 42 articles constituted the information bank. The data observed from the thorough reading showed that there are different soil management techniques in the sustainable production of forage crops, changing according to the needs of the soil, climatic conditions and the economic activity carried out. Finally, the use of Agroecosystems promotes visible environmental benefits and favors the leveraging of production and, consequently, the economy with sustainability.
