Resumo
Considerando a educação como direito fundamental, o ambiente escolar acolhendo as crianças na
educação básica, a destacar a educação infantil e o ensino fundamental, é atravessado por diversos
expressões da questão social. A evolução da educação se configura como um fenômeno complexo, a
escola contemporânea, se encontra diante de desafios e oportunidades ímpares à medida que se avança
no século XXI. Entre esses desafios, a efetividade da interdisciplinaridade e a aplicação da Lei n.º
13.935/2019 que prevê a inclusão do Serviço Social nas redes públicas de Educação Básica para atender
às necessidades e prioridades definidas pelas políticas de educação. Nesse âmbito, a atuação do/da
Assistente Social visa não somente trabalhar as mais diversas demandas apresentadas a partir das
expressões da questão social, mas também discutir a complexidade da realidade social dos contextos
vivenciados, como questões políticas, culturais e econômicas. Este estudo de revisão bibliográfica, vem
discorrer sobre as contribuições e desafios já publicados, sobre o serviço social no âmbito da educação
básica; a educação emancipadora; abordar sobre o trabalho interdisciplinar. O exercício
profissional,pautado nas dimensões teórico-metodológica, ético-política e técnico operativa, deve ser
considerado como uma ferramenta imprescindível nas práticas dos(as) assistentes sociais, a capacidade
e empenho em agir eticamente se configura como um aspecto necessário para a garantia da qualidade dos
serviços que são prestados aos cidadãos.
Considering education as a fundamental right, the school environment welcoming children in basic education, especially early childhood education and primary education, is permeated by several social problems. The evolution of education is configured as a complex phenomenon, the contemporary school is faced with unique challenges and opportunities as it advances in the 21st century. Among these challenges, the effectiveness of interdisciplinarity and the application of Law No. 13,935/2019, which provides for the inclusion of Social Work in public Basic Education networks to meet the needs and priorities defined by education policies. In this context, the role of the Social Worker aims not only to work on the most diverse demands presented based on the expressions of the social issue, but also to discuss the complexity of the social reality of the contexts experienced, such as political, cultural and economic issues. This bibliographical review study discusses the contributions and challenges already published on social work within the scope of basic education; emancipatory education; address interdisciplinary work. Professional practice based on the theoretical-methodological, ethical-political and operational technical dimensions must be considered as an essential tool in the practices of social workers, the ability and commitment to act ethically is configured as a necessary aspect to guarantee the quality of services provided to citizens.
