Objective: the aim of this study was to compare the behavior of different kinds of membrane over conjuntive tissue infiltration in the rat¿s aoveolus after extractions. Materials and methods: it was used 36 rats randomly divided in four groups (control-GC, Teflon membrane-GT, Polypropylene membrane-GP, Cellulose impregnated with doxiciclina-GCD). The upper right central incisor to each animal were extracted and recovered with selected membrane, excepted to control group where none membrane were used. The animals were sacrificed and laminas were obtained from each animal. After image digitalization the conjuntive invatination deep were measured. Results: there wasn¿t significative difference between groups (p value = 0,0856). Conclusion: All the membranes have reduced the depth of tissue infiltration. It should be noted the lowest degree of infiltration observed in the group of Teflon membrana.
