With a great negative impact on women's quality of life and productivity, endometriosis is defined as a chronic inflammatory condition predominantly estrogenic that has a high prevalence in Brazil (about 10% of women of reproductive age). The most common symptom of this pathology is pelvic pain and it is one of the possible causes of female infertility. There is some scientific evidence that suggests a possible relationship between endometriosis and antioxidants. Antioxidants are molecules that help prevent oxidative stress by neutralizing free radicals. In more recent research, there was a prevalence of three antioxidants, the research object of this work. This study aimed to carry out a review of the scientific literature on the evidence of certain antioxidants, resveratrol, quercetin and N acetylcysteine and their influence on symptom control and beneficial action on the quality of life of women with Endometriosis. For the development of this article, an electronic search was performed using three Periódico Capes, Elsevier and Pubmed databases. including studies in humans that evaluated the role of antioxidants in the treatment of women with endometriosis. In this study, there was a prevalence of three antioxidants, the research object of this work, which showed positive results in relation to this pathology. While more research is still needed in this area, some studies have already shown that a diet rich in antioxidants may have benefits for women with endometriosis.
