Resumo
O aço é uma liga metálica constituída por ferro, carbono e outros elementos que
utilizada na construção civil pode trazer diversas vantagens, e também desvantagens.
Dentre esses benefícios podemos citar menor prazo de execução da obra, resistência
e possibilidade de reciclagem do material. Por outro lado, as principais desvantagens
do emprego dessa matéria-prima é a necessidade de mão de obra especializada.
Diante disso, este trabalho de revisão de literatura tem por objetivo verificar a
empregabilidade do método Light Steel Frame na engenharia civil, descrevendo suas
vantagens e desvantagens, bem como as características e propriedades do elemento
aço. Neste caso, foram consultadas as seguintes bases de dados: Google acadêmico,
Scielo e acervo disponível na biblioteca da Uniritter. Apesar de suas vantagens, o
método Light Steel Frame ainda é pouco empregado quando comparado com o
sistema construtivo convencional. Em conclusão, trata-se de um tema que possui
relevância devido a constante renovação da Engenharia Civil. Em vista disso, são
necessários estudos padronizados para que seja possível obter respostas mais
conclusivas sobre o emprego do aço na construção civil.
Steel is a metal alloy repaired by iron, carbon and other elements that used in civil construction can bring several advantages, as well as resistance. Among these benefits, we can mention shorter execution time of the work, resistance and possibility of recycling the material. On the other hand, the main reasons for using this raw material is the need for specialized labor. Therefore, this literature review work aims to verify the employability of the Light Steel Frame in civil engineering, describing its advantages and respect, as well as the characteristics and properties of the steel element method. In this case, the following databases were consulted: Google Scholar, Scielo and the collection available at the Uniritter library. Despite its advantages, the Light Steel Frame method is still little used when compared to the conventional construction system. In conclusion, it is a subject that has a conversion due to a constant dynamic of Civil Engineering. In view of this, expressive studies are needed so that it is possible to obtain more conclusive answers about the use of steel in civil construction
