dc.description.abstract	Dentistry has stood out in the world scene when practicing rehabilitation procedures and techniques, aiming at the health and esthetics of individuals. Within this context, oral rehabilitation using the full denture procedure on implants with immediate loading showed a significant advance in recent years. The osseointegration was proposed by Bränemark through two surgical stages, but the evolution of the surgical techniques provided the improvement of the diagnostic methods, the improvement in the quality of the implant, as well as the knowledge of the tissue biology adjacent to the implant. In this way, the development of new technologies has been supporting studies for a single surgical stage and the placement of the prosthesis on newly installed implants. The objective of this research is to review the literature studies that support the use of the total prosthesis over newly installed implants. It is concluded that the total prosthesis procedure on the implants brings advantages to the patients, since there is the reduction of the working time, less postoperative discomfort and, above all, it returns the masticatory and aesthetic function immediately after the surgery.	en
dc.description.abstract	A odontologia tem se destacado no cenário mundial ao praticar procedimentos e técnicas de reabilitação, visando a saúde e estética dos indivíduos. Dentro deste contexto, a reabilitação oral utilizando o procedimento de prótese total sobre implantes com carga imediata mostrou um avanço significativo nos últimos anos. A osseointegração foi proposta por Bränemark através de dois estágios cirúrgicos, porém a evolução das técnicas cirúrgicas proporcionou o aperfeiçoamento dos métodos de diagnóstico, a melhoria na qualidade do implante, bem como o conhecimento da biologia tecidual adjacente ao implante. Desta forma, o desenvolvimento de novas tecnologias vem dando suporte a estudos para um único estágio cirúrgico e a colocação da prótese sobre os implantes recém-instalados. O objetivo desta pesquisa é revisar a literatura os estudos que apoiam o uso da prótese total sobre os implantes recém-instalados. Conclui-se que o procedimento da prótese total sobre os implantes trazem vantagens aos pacientes, pois há a redução do tempo de trabalho, menos desconforto pós-operatório e, sobretudo, devolve a função mastigatória e estética imediatamente após a cirurgia.	pt_BR
