The school space is an important instrument in the construction of the human being, having a fundamental role and great influence in the formation of first experiences, social relationships and even character. It is at school that children spend most of their time, however, it is still possible to find educational spaces that are completely unprepared and insufficient. The current school architecture of public units in Brazil has numerous flaws, especially when it comes to spaces offered. The way this environment imprisons children through high walls and extensive fences helps a feeling of indignation to flourish, in addition to helping students not feel like they belong in that place. In view of this, the present work is based on the architectural proposal of a Park School, aimed at elementary school children (06 to 15 years old), in situations of social vulnerability, located in the district of Grajaú, south zone of São Paulo, open to society on weekends. Thus unifying education, culture and leisure in a single space, transforming the school into a social and urban insertion facility, which welcomes the entire community, helping to transform the feeling of contempt into belonging to this important space.
