The verticalization of the city of São Paulo has been a growing process since the 60's, and along with the decentralization process; with that there was a great flow of real estate interest to regions far from the center. In addition to the lack of urban preparation in such regions (as in tight sidewalks, streets that start to have a greater flow of vehicles and avenues that lead to the center becoming congested, all linked to the delay in public transport to central regions), there is also a greater demand for basic services that are not compensated, thus forming "bedroom towns" that encourage this intense flow throughout the neighborhood.
