dc.description.abstract	Rape is a high-impact crime that affects many people. However, even more severe is the rape of the vulnerable, that crime with a sexual content committed against people up to fourteen years old or with disabilities, where there isn’t conscience for the consent of the act. Because of the type of victim and the crime level, there is great difficulty in proving the crime. Then, there is the inconvenience of carrying out a conviction based only on the victim's word. So this research had as object the vulnerable crime of rape and risks of conviction based on the word of the victim and as objective to determine whether the conviction of vulnerable rape can be based only on the word of the victim, and to describe aspects of criminal law on the subject, analyze the effects of a sentence based on the victim's word and comment on possible solutions to the problems encountered. In these terms, the study was based on a bibliographic search. Finally, it was observed that although the victim's word is a type of evidence, when the victim is vulnerable, that evidence ends up suffering weathering and putting the veracity of the data at risk. In turn, the legislation opens up a wide range of interpretation, leaving the magistrate open to make his conclusions according to the case. dc.description.abstract	O estupro é um crime de grande impacto e afeta muitas pessoas. No entanto, ainda mais severo, é o estupro de vulneráveis, ou seja, aquele crime com teor sexual cometido contra pessoas de até 14 anos ou com deficiências, onde não há consciência para o consentimento do ato. Por conta do tipo de vítima e pelo teor do crime, existe grande dificuldade em comprová-lo. Sendo assim, surge o inconveniente de realizar uma condenação com base apenas na palavra da vítima. Portanto, esta pesquisa teve como objeto, o crime de estupro de vulnerável e, os riscos da condenação baseada na palavra da vítima. Sendo os objetivos: Verificar se a condenação por estupro de vulnerável pode se basear somente na palavra da vítima; descrever os aspectos da legislação penal sobre o tema; analisar os efeitos de uma condenação baseada na palavra da vítima e; comentar as possíveis soluções para as problemáticas encontradas. Nestes termos, o estudo se embasou em pesquisa bibliográfica. Por fim, foi observado que apesar de a palavra da vítima ser um tipo de prova, quando esta é um vulnerável, essa prova acaba sofrendo intemperes, pondo em risco a veracidade dos dados. Por sua vez, a legislação abre um grande leque de interpretação, deixando em aberto para o magistrado realizar as suas conclusões, de acordo com o caso. Ainda que tudo seja realizado com o maior cuidado possível, muitas vezes ocorrem condenações indevidas, gerando marcas permanentes na vida dos inocentes envolvidos.	pt_BR
