Resumo
Este trabalho teve como objetivo principal identificar e analisar o papel da escola pública na
vida dos estudantes. Para isso, foram realizadas pesquisas referentes a escola pública, o papel
do psicólogo nesse ambiente e a percepção dos alunos sobre esses locais. O método de
pesquisa utilizado foi de revisão bibliográfica e foram selecionados 19 artigos para a
formulação deste trabalho. Os artigos analisados foram publicados entre os anos de 2021 e
2023 (nas bases de dado SciElo e Capes), com os termos ''psicologia'' e ''escola pública''. Analisando os resultados nota-se predominância de publicações nas regiões do sudeste e
centro-oeste, sem nenhum artigo publicado nas regiões do norte e nordeste. O maior número
de trabalhos identificados foram publicados no ano de 2021. Conclui-se que o papel do
psicólogo nesse meio tem sua importância no momento de dar voz ao estudante e trabalhar
como um mediador entre a saúde mental e as instituições de ensino, trabalhando com a não
medicalização e com novas estratégias para amplificar a obtenção de conhecimento dos
alunos por meio de um trabalho interdisciplinar com professores.
The main objective of this work was to identify and analyze the role of public schools in the lives of students. To this end, the research was carried out regarding public schools, the role of the psychologist in this ambient and the students' perception of these places. The research method used was bibliographic review and 19 articles were selected for the formulation of this work. The articles analyzed were published between 2021 and 2023 (in the SciElo and Capes databases), with the terms ''psychology'' and ''public school''. Analyzing the results, there is a predominance of publications in the southeast and central-west regions, with no articles published in the north and northeast regions. The largest number of works identified were published in 2021. It is concluded that the role of the psychologist in this environment is important in giving voice to the student and working as a mediator between mental health and educational institutions, working with non-medicalization and new strategies to amplify the acquisition of knowledge of students through interdisciplinary work with teachers.
