dc.description.abstract	This research has as general objective to understand the safety of offshore operations, analyzing and demonstrating the activity of air transportation of passengers in the oil industry, presenting characteristics and information regarding offshore air transportation operations, knowledge and technical specifications regarding the structure developed to carry out the offshore aviation, identifying maritime and oil units, aircraft used in transportation, airports and heliports used in offshore operations. The procedure for data collection is characterized as a bibliographic and documentary review carried out exclusively by the internet based on research and studies carried out by companies participating in aviation and offshore exploration in general. The approach, therefore, will be qualitative, since the study of offshore aviation, based on the characteristics of air transport in the Campos basin that develops there, will demonstrate the importance of the safety of air operations in maritime units. At the end of the research, it is concluded that the offshore activity keeps growing, but it develops in potentially flawed conditions due to the lack of regulations and research aimed at the activity, the lack of specific knowledge together with the lack of information and the scarcity studies directed to the area, which would enable a greater capacity for decision making by aviators, in addition to greater knowledge of the offshore operations carried out.	en
dc.description.abstract	Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo geral compreender a segurança das operações offshore, analisando e demostrando a atividade do transporte aéreo de passageiros da indústria petrolífera, apresentando características e informações referente as operações de transporte aéreo offshore, conhecimentos e especificações técnicas quanto a estrutura desenvolvida para realização da aviação offshore, identificando unidades marítimas e petrolíferas, aeronaves usadas no transporte, aeroportos e heliportos usados nas operações offshore. O procedimento para a coleta de dados caracteriza-se como revisão bibliográfica e documental realizada exclusivamente pela internet fundamentada em pesquisas e estudos realizados por empresas participantes da aviação e exploração offshore de uma forma geral. A abordagem, portanto, será qualitativa, já que, o estudo da Aviação offshore, a partir das características de transporte aéreo na bacia de Campos que ali se desenvolvem, demonstrará a importância da segurança das operações aéreas nas unidades marítimas. Ao finalizar a pesquisa, conclui-se que a atividade offshore mante-se em crescente, mas desenvolve-se em condições potencialmente com falhas devido à falta de regulamentos e pesquisas voltados à atividade, à carência de conhecimento específico junto à falta informações e a escassez de estudos direcionados à área, que possibilitariam uma maior capacidade de tomadas de decisões por parte dos aviadores, além de conhecimento maior das operações offshore realizadas.	pt_BR
