Análise discursiva do funcionamento do boato: um gênero (im)possível?

| dc.description.abstract | In this research, we analyse how rumors work discursively to find their main regularities and verify if it is possible to think about them a discursive genre. We believe that every utterance can receive a minimal categorization if we take in consideration its predominant effects and structures. To find those regularities, we decided, in our pre-analytic work of corpus build, to compare two discursive materialities with relatively different production conditions to think about how meanings resonate among them. The first materiality, The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion, is an anti-semitic book from the 20th century which reveals supposed world domination plans by the Jews. The second materiality is the video North Korea wins the group stage on the World Cup, a supposed manipulative propaganda from North Korea¿s government about a fake participation of the country in the 2014 World Soccer Cup. Our research is based on Orlandi (2012a, 2012b, 2013, 2014), establishing connections between rumor and language as it is proposed by the Discourse Analysis. According to Orlandi, the rumor is a news that does not have an author and that is not confirmed by any legitimate institution in society. To find recurrences in both texts, we did a textual analysis based on the works of Serrani (2002) about discursive resonances, who suggests that the meanings are built through the repetition of certain elements. We verified that the rumor stereotypes the subject and remove ambiguities in the relationship between men and the world via a contradictorily ambiguous structure. We concluded that the rumor can be identified as a non-topic genre of discourse, since its characteristics aren¿t socially known. | dc.description.abstract | Nesta pesquisa, analisamos o funcionamento discursivo de boatos para encontrar suas principais regularidades e, assim, verificar se é possível pensá-los enquanto gênero do discurso. Acreditamos que todo enunciado é passível de uma categorização mínima com base em seus efeitos e estruturas predominantes. Para que pudéssemos encontrar regularidades, decidimos, em nosso trabalho analítico prévio de construção de corpus, estabelecer uma comparação entre duas materialidades inseridas em condições de produção relativamente díspares para refletir sobre quais sentidos ressoam entre elas. A primeira, Os Protocolos dos Sábios de Sião, é um livro antissemita que remonta ao século XX e que revelaria supostos planos judaicos de dominação mundial. A segunda materialidade é o vídeo North Korea wins the group stage on the World Cup, uma suposta propaganda manipuladora do governo da Coreia do Norte sobre a falsa participação do país na Copa de 2014. Amparam nossos estudos trabalhos de Orlandi (2012a, 2012b, 2013, 2014), que estabelecem relações entre boato e linguagem como proposta pela Análise do Discurso. Para Orlandi, o boato é uma notícia sem autoria e que não é confirmada por nenhuma instituição legitimada nos círculos sociais. Para localizar as recorrências de ambos os boatos, empregamos uma análise textual firmada no trabalho de Serrani (2002) acerca das ressonâncias discursivas, em que se propõe que os sentidos são construídos com base na repetição de certos índices. Verificamos que o boato estereotipa o sujeito e desambiguiza as relações entre o homem e o mundo através de uma estrutura contraditoriamente ambígua. Concluímos que o boato pode ser identificado como um gênero não tópico do discurso, pois suas características não são socialmente consagradas, devendo ser predeterminadas pelo pesquisador em seu movimento de análise. | pt_BR |
