dc.description.abstractO rótulo é uma inscrição, legenda ou imagem gráfica e descritiva que estampa produtos de diferentes gêneros com o objetivo de identificar o produto e trazer informações relevantes ao consumidor no momento da compra, auxiliando-o a fazer escolhas. A rotulagem de alimentos serve para garantir que o consumidor tenha direito a informações claras e objetivas sobre a quantidade de cada um dos ingredientes e estas regras são determinadas através de legislações que variam de cada país. No Brasil, a rotulagem vem sendo discutida desde a última metade do século passado com o crescimento da industrialização e possui uma grande legislação sobre o tema por parte de diferentes órgãos fiscalizadores. Atualmente, a nova RDC traz mudanças importantes sobre a rotulagem dos produtos brasileiros e visa, entre outras coisas, promover uma maior conscientização sobre as escolhas alimentares e tornar o rótulo um instrumento de mais fácil interpretação por parte do consumidor. Este estudo buscou fazer uma revisão bibliográfica dos estudos produzidos nos últimos 5 anos no país de forma a buscar elementos que permitam entender a relação do consumidor com a rotulagem disponível no Brasil, como as legislações podem interferir nestas escolhas e as perspectivas diante das novas regras com as mudanças propostas voltadas a rotulagem nutricional e sua interface com a promoção da saúde do cidadão brasileiro.pt
dc.description.abstractThe label is an inscription, caption or graphic and descriptive image that stamps products of different genres with the objective of identifying the product and bringing relevant information to the consumer at the time of purchase, helping him to make choices. Food labeling serves to ensure that consumers have the right to clear and objective information about the amount of each ingredient and these rules are determined by legislation that varies from country to country. In Brazil, labeling has been discussed since the last half of the last century with the growth of industrialization and has a large legislation on the subject by different inspection bodies. Currently, the new RDC brings important changes to the labeling of Brazilian products and aims, among other things, to promote greater awareness of food choices and make the label an instrument that is easier for consumers to interpret. This study sought to carry out a bibliographical review of the studies produced in the last 5 years in the country in order to seek elements that allow understanding the consumer's relationship with the labeling available in Brazil, how the legislation can interfere in these choices and the perspectives in the face of the new rules with the proposed changes aimed at nutritional labeling and its interface with the promotion of the health of Brazilian citizens.en
